3. Bouncers vrs Swings

Swings take up alot of room and not all babies like the big movement. Go for a bouncer seat instead. They have washable covers, are easy to transport, and there are many great brands under $50.

4. Avoid Commercial Themes

Choose furniture, assessories,  and decore that will grow with the child. Even a 4 year old will get sick of Dora and Elmo.  Go for Animals, Nature, and other classic themes.

5. Handmade Gifts and Blankets

Nothing gets ladies crying at baby showers more than handmade gifts – so get out the knitting, needlepoint, etc. If you aren’t the crafty type, give a beautiful blanket. Blankets are a wonderful gift, and you can never have too many.
