Countdown to Christmas…10 days!
Christmas is only 10 days away…I know, reality hurts. With that said, you have exactly 10 days to finish your Christmas shopping! Can it be done? Of course it can! There are so many options for fitting in those last minute Christmas gifts.
You can always make some gifts yourself. Homemade Christmas gifts provide a much more personal touch. You could let the kids help by making Christmas Tree Ornaments with Popsicle sticks, glue, and glitter! Help them glue the sticks together to make a star burst pattern, then spread glue on the front of the sticks and let them sprinkle glitter over it. Let it sit to dry, then wrap it up for Grandma and Grandpa!
You could even make your own family themed board game. Take an old board game out of the closet and copy the spaces, just change the questions and phrases on the spaces to fit your family characteristics. Write out inside jokes, or make it a trivia game about the family tree and ancestry. It would be fun to help the younger members of the family get to know their ancestors who they’ll never have the chance to meet.
