THE WINE OBSESSION About three years ago I began a new hobby of wine tasting at a local wine shop in Gainesville, Florida. As a University of Florida student, I was no stranger to the consumption of alcohol. Much to my dismay, this was no ordinary hobby. I began drinking wine with friends, and with my girlfriend when ever I had the chance. I also began wine classes and started working at a wine store as a wine consultant a couple years later. During my wine tasting years, I constantly used money that I obtained through the University's Financial Aid system to purchase wines of pedigree so that I could not only drink amazing bottles of wine but so that I could additionally form a nice collection of now over 200 bottles, at the age of 26. I obviously had to hide this from all of my loved ones because it is an obsession, I and I alone embrace. It is also very expensive! Any moment I had outside of school I used to do comparison shopping at local wine shops and to find the best buy on highly rated wines. I am currently a medical student with a ridiculous amount of outstanding school loans, but I still need to insure my collection. I have used my school loans and credit cards for the benefit of my obsessive collection and hopefully will not suffer too many consequences from my lofty purchases. Now it is time to reap the benefits of studying to become a doctor and hopefully I can continue collecting wines of pedigree. Andrew Vitale | September 23 2008 |

Taking Advantage of a Situation eBillme, I have a shopping confession. My boyfriend has an endless addiction; video games. It drives me crazy, to the point where I needed to take advantage of the situation. How could I spin this to work in my favor? Knowing that his video games would certainly look more attractive on a large LCD TV, I talked him into making the big purchase. Little did he know, I only wanted it to be able to watch MY favorite television shows and finally have the girls over for a sitcom night. Oops? eBillme, I have a shopping confession! | September 06 2008 |

A brick? eBillme I have a confession, you can tell from the title that a brick is not something to hide, whats the big deal. Well i actually bought a brick of cheese, well technically i did not buy the brick, i bought a cheese press. Thats right, a machine so i can make my own cheese. My wife, hates all the mess i make when i go on food making adventures, you guess it, yes, we own a bread maker, a pasta maker, etc... well now, cheese. I had no problem hiding the machine, but when i came home with 5 gallons of raw milk, something had to give. My wife was not too impressed, worse yet, the brick of chesse i made has to age, and wont be ready for 6 month, YUP, 6 month. | September 01 2008 |
