WILMINGTON, Del.—November 27, 2007—Floridian Winston Hoy just won $1,000 for shedding a little sunshine on a childish obsession he’s hidden from his closest friends, family members, and even his mother. The 19-year-old University of Central Florida student’s winning Secret Shopping Confession video reveals how he uses the money from his mother intended for lunch, to feed his craving for Pokemon trading cards. By pooling this money with other funds, Winston spent more than $1,000 on Pokemon cards over the past year. He hides the cards in a closet, sneaking them in and out of the house in an aluminum briefcase to play the Pokemon TCG (trading card game) with other fanatics.

Week three’s winning video confessed the purchase of designer shoes over a bed for a new apartment. And this week’s final $1,000 winner confessed his Pokemon trading card obsession.
eBillme’s judges will vote on the best secret shopping confession from among all submitted, and award the $20,000 grand prize.
