Ottawa, Ontario - September 7, 2006 Today MODASolutions, a leading alternative payment option provider, announced that Michaela Tokarski has joined the company’s executive team as Vice President of Marketing. Reporting to CEO Marwan Forzley, Tokarski is responsible for establishing and expanding market awareness of MODASolutions’ flagship product SECURE-eBill across all merchant, consumer, and channel partner segments.

Prior to joining MODASolutions, Tokarski co-founded Coastal Contacts Inc. (TSX: COA), a successful e-tailer of optical products. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Coastal Contacts, Tokarski was responsible for online and offline sales and marketing initiatives in North America, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to Coastal Contacts, Tokarski held positions at Kraft General Foods, Syncrude, and Domtar Fine Papers. Tokarski holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering with a Management Sciences Designation from the University of Waterloo and an MBA with an Entrepreneurship Specialization from the University of Victoria. She is past-president of the Ottawa Chapter of the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO). Tokarski was honored with an Ottawa Business Journal ‘Top 40 under 40’ award in 2004. She lives in Ottawa.
