    Online shoppers can now buy Amazon.com Gift Cards with cash using eBillme

    Rye Brook, NY - October 4, 2010 - eBillme a safe and secure way to pay online, using online banking and walk-in locations, announced today it has entered into an agreement with ACI Gift Cards, Inc., the exclusive issuer of Amazon.com Gift Cards, to provide consumers a cash method for purchasing Amazon.com Gift Cards through their online banking/bill payment provider. Under the new agreement, customers can purchase virtual Gift Cards in denominations of $5-$5,000 from eBillme directly, or by accessing eBillme’s site from http://www.amazon.com/cashgcresellers without releasing any financial information. The cash option is available now to Amazon.com customers in time for the start of the upcoming holiday shopping season.

    Amazon.com Gift Card customers can also take advantage of the eBillme cash-back rewards through the eBillme Rewards program which offers 1% cash-back on purchases made using eBillme. Once a customer earns $10 in rewards, they can redeem on future purchases from any eBillme Merchant site.

    Buying an Amazon.com Gift Card with cash is easy: customers simply go to eBillme’s website select their gift card amount and enter their email address. A bill is sent to the customer via email and can be paid using the bill pay service from one of over 17,000 banks in the eBillme network. Once the payment is received by eBillme, the virtual Amazon.com Gift Card is sent to the purchaser via e-mail within a few minutes. No financial information is exposed or shared with eBillme or the merchant. Customers may also choose to take the printed bill to one of over 75,000 walk-in locations, where the Amazon Gift Card claim code will be printed on the customer receipt after payment is made.
