
Officers in Springfield, Massachusetts are seeking help in identifying a woman who may have used stolen credit card numbers at several business in the area. Her crime spree allegedly totaled over $1,200 in fradulent purchases, reports local station WGGB.
According to Springfield Police Sergeant John Delaney, the woman stole the wallet of an employee at Baystate Medical Center who was away from her desk. The same day, the victim's credit cards are alleged to have been used at several local stores, including Ethics, CVS, Wal-Mart, Mason Food Market, Burlington Coat Factory, A.J. Wright, Jim Dandy, McDonalds and several gas stations.
Surveillance footage of the woman suspected of stealing the cards show a heavy-set African American woman wearing a bright yellow top, according to the news source. Those with information that may help lead to the woman's arrest are encourage to contact local police officers.
