
Cybercrime experts will come together in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, to discuss the changing face of crime on the internet and offer advice to local residents, businesses and banks, according to SeacoastOnline.com.
The Cybercrime 2010 Symposium will take place at November 4 and 5 at the Portsmouth Harborside Hotel. Security professionals and representatives of some of New England's largest banks will be present at the event.
"The contributors to this symposium are the top thought leaders in the fight against crime," Sari Stern Greene, president of Sage Data Security, told the news source. "Our goal is to have our attendees gain the essential tools needed to detect, deter and defeat cybercriminals that may be after your organization's assets."
Among the speakers at the event will be journalist Brian Krebs, who runs a security blog, Joseph Men, author of Fatal System Error, and Doug Johnson, vice president of American Banking Association, according to the news source.
