  • How do I return something I bought online?

    line2

Just because an online merchant agrees to accept a product return doesn’t mean it’s as simple as putting it back in the mail with a “return to sender” sticker. When it comes to online returns, returning items could involve requesting a special form to fill out and return with the item or requesting a return authorization number so the store can process your return quickly when it gets back to them.

Before tossing the product in the mail for a return, visit your online account at the store where you purchased the product. If you haven’t already done so, you should read up on the company’s return policy. Then, at your online account, you should have the option of completing a label with the quantity, condition, and reason for return. You print the label and attach it to the original packaging of the defective product.

Keep in mind when returning items that you are probably responsible for the return shipping costs. In addition, the online store may not take any responsibility for theft, loss, or damage done to the product while being shipped back to the company.
